August Monthly Meeting

Come join us Sunday August 8th at 4:30 PM for our monthly meeting at Blue Star Cafe. Primary season is over and things are looking very good for Democrats across the State of Washington…Treasurer’s race excluded. Come join us for our primary wrap-up and planning for the rest of the year to help keep Washington blue and to take back the State Senate.
We will be joined by King County Young Democrat-endorsed candidate for State Senate in the 41st Legislative District Lisa Wellman, who won her primary against the Republican incumbent. This race is one of the most crucial races in the state to regain the majority in the State Senate, so come meet Lisa!
We will also be joined by King County Young Democrats member Eileen Pollet, who is a founder of a Fem PAC. Their goal is to get non-incumbent women under the age of 40 elected to public office. This is a wonderful goal, and it is extra awesome because it shows that KCYD members all have the potential to do wonderful work and can be the driving force the progressive change we want to see in our County and State.
